The Alemite 6243-j3 heavy-duty grease gun delivers lubricant at pressures up to 10, 000 psi (pounds per square inch) and has a 1/4 inch NPTF female Outlet. An extra-long, solid lever provides increased leverage over standard Length levers, delivering 1 oz of grease for every 20 strokes that the lever is pumped. The grease gun has a bulk capacity of 24 oz or can fit a 14 oz cartridge. The cast iron head and heavy-duty construction of this grease gun provide for its durability and its zinc plating makes it resistant to corrosion. This grease gun loads grease either by suction, by inserting a 14 oz grease cartridge, or by using an Alemite loader pump. A bleeder Valve keeps the grease gun from building up excessive pressure in the cylinder, and the 1/4 inch NPTF (National pipe thread fuel) Outlet accommodates various extensions. This heavy-duty grease gun injects grease into standard grease fittings and is suitable for applications such as lubricating all types of vehicles, construction equipment, factory and agricultural machinery, and aeronautics, among others. Alemite heavy duty Series grease guns are made for the lubrication professional, providing guaranteed performance in severe conditions. These grease guns have die cast steel or cast iron heads, and rugged body and follower construction to meet the toughest lubrication challenges oil and grease guns are hand-held tools that inject lubricant (oil or grease dispensed from the Barrel or cylinder cartridge) into metal mechanical assemblies. Electric and air-powered grease guns can dispense large volumes of lubricant in commercial applications, while battery-powered (cordless) grease guns are more suitable for mobile and remote applications. Manual grease guns (lever, pistol-grip, screw-type, push-type, and suction) vary in duty and have either a rigid or flexible hose extension for attaching nozzles or a nozzle with coupler for standard grease fittings..
