The Alemite 8540-A1 high-pressure standard-duty stationary pump comes with a flexible follower plate and a drum cover and is suitable for use with a 16-gal./120-lb. drum (sold separately) for delivering lightweight or fibrous lubricant through pipes of moderate length. The pump has a delivery rate of 1.8 lb. per minute, with a pump ratio of 70:1. The air motor has a 1/4" air inlet and is made of aluminum for light weight and resistance to corrosion. Double toggles provide even pressure without stalling the motor. A pressuretrol limits the air supply to the pump when the pressure reaches 7,500 psi (pounds per square inch). The follower plate helps prevent air pockets for uniform dispensing. The 3/8" female material outlet has NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threading to prevent leaks. The pump weighs 35 lb.
