The Alemite 4035 heavy-duty lever Type oil gun is specially designed for use with oil. The gun may be used to lubricate bearings or to pre-charge hydraulic cylinders. The gun is loaded by pouring oil directly into its cylinder and its buna-n seals are compatible with most oils. This oil gun has a 26 oz cylinder capacity and delivers lubricant at pressures up to 1, 800 psi (pounds per square inch) at a rate of 0.15 oz per Stroke. A lever mechanism provides high-volume output, delivering 1 oz of oil for every seven strokes the lever is pumped. The gun's heavy-duty construction makes it durable. Alemite specialty Series grease guns provide an array of guns meeting unique requirements for special applications, building on Alemite 90 years of leadership in grease gun design. Oil and grease guns are hand-held tools that inject lubricant (oil or grease dispensed from the Barrel or cylinder cartridge) into metal mechanical assemblies. Electric and air-powered grease guns can dispense large volumes of lubricant in commercial applications, while battery-powered (cordless) grease guns are more suitable for mobile and remote applications. Manual grease guns (lever, pistol-grip, screw-type, push-type, and suction) vary in duty and have either a rigid or flexible hose extension for attaching nozzles or a nozzle with coupler for standard grease fittings. Oil and grease guns are used in a broad variety of applications including all types of vehicles, construction equipment, factory and agricultural machinery, and aeronautics, among others.
