Description: Aervoe Undercoating & Sound Insulator is a quick-drying, black, rubberized film designed to offer maximum coverage, durability and protection against corrosion. It provides superior insulation properties against road and chassis noise. Benefits: This multi-purpose coating provides a superior protection against rust, road salt, dust, fumes and moisture. It is designed to protect metal from corrosion and abrasion. Effective after repairs and on replacement parts. Remains flexible and will not flake or chip off under vibration. Deadens sound. Reduces downtime by several seasons when applied to swamp coolers or tower coolers. Provides superior performance to that of submarine cooler coatings. Application: Use on auto underbodies, trunks, fender and body seams, rust holes, weld joints, gas tanks, fender and panel replacements. Also useful for sealing rain gutters, coating tree wounds, minor roof repairs, driveway cracks, swamp and tower cooler coating, etc. Directions: Align spray head with black mark on valve rim to ensure complete evacuation. Before spraying, shake can vigorously for at least 1 minute after agitator ball is heard and intermittently thereafter. Surface must be dry and free of dust, dirt, and heavy corrosion. For best results product should be used at temperatures between 60° and 80° F (16° and 27° C). Hold can 10 to 12 inches from surface to be coated, and press spray head firmly. Material is delivered in a high pressure conical spray pattern, use steady, even strokes while spraying, making sure to keep spraying hand in motion. Two light coats are better than one heavy coat. Immediately remove any overspray with a cloth dampened in mineral spirits or safety solvent. Spray in well ventilated area. After spraying, turn can upside down and press button for approximately two seconds to clear material from valve and tip. If undercoating is to be top coated, use a good quality flexible enamel or lacquer. Test paint-cured panel (24 hours) to ensure paint compatibility before use. Limitations: Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for specific information on material hazards, etc. Note that car trunks and interior areas require special attention to remove vapors. On cars with catalytic converters, avoid application of an undercoat or rust proofing material on or near converter, muffler, exhaust and tail pipes due to extreme heat generated by system.
