The Irwin Tools 1819362 Marples High Impact Chisel 3-Piece Set is designed for durability. These chisels are designed for Prying, Rough Notching, Lap Joints, and Demolition. The blades are made of Solid-forged 100 Carve (chrome vanadium) Steel and are Hardened and Tempered for a sharper, long lasting cutting edge. The Blades are hardened to 1-Inch of the bolster to allow for continuous sharpening when needed without the loss of any blade strength or durability. The High Impact Chisels have a Fully Forged Steel Core for increased strength and durability and an Extra Large strike cap that withstands repetitive hammer strikes. These Chisels also has a ProTouch over-mold grip for comfort and control, two primary factors when using a chisel. The body of the handle is made of Splitproof Acetate for superior durability. The three piece set includes a 1/2-Inch, 3/4-Inch and 1-Inch Chisel.
