This unit can quickly and seamlessly be mounted to the 300 Power Drive, 300 Compact, 535M, 535A and 1822 Threading Machines to form standard grooves in steel, stainless steel and aluminum pipes ranging from 1-1/4 inches to 6 inches (30 mm to 150 mm) Schedule 10 and 1-1/4 inches to 3 inches (30 mm to 75 mm) Schedule 40. This pipe grooving machine’s patented single stroke feed mechanism allows for quick, accurate operation with consistent groove depth.Its rugged construction and lighter, 34-pound weight make for easy transport and is ideal for use in the field or shop. A solid, cast-iron housing easily withstands the harshest working conditions while its easy-to-install drive and groove rolls ensure this high-performance tool is always up to the job. This model can easily be adapted for use on copper tubing types K, L, M, DWV, and 1-inch (25 mm) Schedule 40 pipes with optional drive and groove roll kits.
